Open Womb Creations, LLC

Well, welcome to our…imagination?

Open Womb Creations is a company created by kindred spirits that one day started a playful
conversation with, “So, I have this idea.” Both of us (Tanisha and Colin) being creative and
foodies continued with “and wouldn’t it be great if…” that was joined by “it would be so cool
to…” and so on. This conversation laced with laughter, huge ideas and blissful possibilities
eventually took shape once we asked the universe “how can we make magic happen?” The
Universe answered. But of course.

By the very next day, Colin was talking to people about our first event, making notes about the
menu and working on a film treatment first draft (more on that later). I went to work with the
nuts and bolts of the thing, after all, we can’t expect to conduct business if we don’t have a
business. He was thinking chutneys, avocados and Sea Bass while I was thinking branding,
mission/vision statements and venues. Neither of us worried about what the other was doing,
we worked steadily and happily at our inspired tasks for a couple of days and would reconvene
with exciting news of some sort. We have a Venn Diagram sort of connection so we expected
things would sort out as we went along.

And has it ever!
We understand and live by the wisdom that all greatness begins in the imagination. Then, I t
gains momentum in visualization and meditation or whatever spiritual practice one participates
in to balance life. Finally, it comes into our 3D existence with the talents and abilities we claim
as our own. This company is named Open Womb because we give birth to whichever idea we
want. Our fist event is a fundraiser, but our next event may be a dance performance. It’s all fun
and games…no really, it is. Well, also food. And community.

Here’s our formula to top notch exclusive events:

1. What’s the thing we want to do?

2. What fun and fantastic way can we weave art into this gathering?

3. What’s the food gonna do?

4. How will we support our community with this?

Then, voilá or Wall-ah (as I used to say as a child)! We’re off and running.

We work like a social non-profit, but instead of getting the status ourselves, we decided we
would donate to non-profits that already support the community.

So we think it up, people show up, we eat, play, have a great time – while we support the
community at the same time.

Do you have an idea you want us to work our magic on for you? Contact us for a consultation,
I promise it will be unlike anything you’ve experienced so far.

Until next time.
